Hi Jonathan,

Is there any way to show the navigate up button on the WPHeader row, instead of the toolbar. As for various security/design issues, not many companies would like to show the toolbar on the doc libs ? Can the navigate up button be placed somewhere else ??

I'm not sure if JavaScript function would be able to manipulate and object after it has loaded. You could use a URL variable and use JavaScript to load the right document on page load. The most efficient way is to make a custom webpart to do this, but I'm not sure if this is outside of your skill level.

Hi Dave,

For an class ID, try
classid="clsid:CA8A9780-280D-11CF-A24D-444553540000"
I found this by looking at the Adobe PDR Reader properties under the Add-Ons manager in IE. So far this is working for me:

Hi Jonathan!

Thanks for sharing your work!

Is it possible to get the navigate up-icon on the toolbar directly inside the Document webpart toolbar? So users wont have to go via ribbon document library to navigate..

Thank you!

My iphone 3 is 3.5 years old.
It runs slowly - frustratingly slowly.
A couple of weeks ago I did a complete reset etc.
I have turned off location services to no effect.
I have been told the memory degrades over time - true?
Any other ideas?
Many thanks, Andrew

Hi Jonathan,

I really like your tutorial and it works like a charm. However I would like to take that customizing one step further and not only add a button to the menu (in your case "Feedback") but also add a submenu that opens when the user hovers over or clicks on the Feedback menu entry.
The submenu should be filled programmatically.
Is that possible?
I have found quite a few tutorials on fly-out menus but none work for the PersonalActions menu. If I add a submenu the whole menu entry just disappears even though the deployment process is supposedly successful.
Do you have any ideas or helpful links?
Best regards,
Max

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks fo the solution.
I was wondering: does this only work for <strong>Libraries</strong> or also for <strong>Lists</strong> that have folders?

Cheers,

Waldemar
